St. Thomas Carnival 2025: Schedule, Village Lineup and Videos

St. Thomas Carnival 2025 brought pageants, parades, food, music, powder and pure vibes. This is my archive of the 73rd Carnival’s schedule and Village Nights lineup, with links to Flo Dynasty videos. The 2025 events have ended.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and Division of Festivals organized the celebration. Its 2025 theme was “Exposing Our Culture Through Food, Music, and Vibes for Carnival 2025!” Food, music and community were at the heart of it.
St. Thomas Carnival 2025 schedule
The archived official flyer above lists the following dates and times. The season’s pageants began April 12, with the main Carnival week running April 27 through May 3, 2025. Times below are local Virgin Islands time.
April 12: Princess Show, 4 p.m., UVI Elridge Blake Sports & Fitness Center.
April 19: Queen Show, 7 p.m., Antilles Mark C. Marin Center.
April 20: Toddler’s Derby, Best Dressed Doll and Easter Sunday Funday, noon–3 p.m., Carnival Village.
April 21: Hospital Show, 6 p.m., Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.
April 26: Calypso Monarch, 8 p.m., Carnival Village.
April 27: Boat Race, 10 a.m., waterfront; Panorama, 6 p.m., Carnival Village.
April 28–May 3: Village Nights at Fort Christian Parking Lot. The overview flyer lists 7 p.m.–1 a.m.; individual night flyers include later sets.
April 30: Food Fair, 11 a.m., Austin “Babe” Monsanto Crown Bay Center.
May 1: J’ouvert at sunrise, Veterans Drive waterfront.
May 2: Children’s Parade, 11 a.m., Main Street.
May 3: Adults’ Parade, 10 a.m., Main Street; fireworks, 9 p.m., as listed on the archived flyer.
Village Nights lineup, April 28–May 3
Six free Village Nights brought soca, dancehall, reggae, bouyon, quelbe and VI talent to Fort Christian Parking Lot. The night-by-night list below follows the original lineup graphic. J’ouvert, Food Fair and parade memories
J’ouvert filled the waterfront on May 1. Explore my St. Thomas J’ouvert 2025 gallery for the people, costumes and road energy.
Food Fair was held April 30 at Crown Bay Center. Johnny cakes, whelks and rice, fried fish, pate, roti, lobster, conch, local drinks, stewed fruit, tarts and kallaloo are part of the food culture I love to cover. Selections depend on the vendors; this is not a current menu.

Ocean Co’Mocean Poker Run 2025
The separate Ocean Co’Mocean Poker Run was advertised for May 4, 2025, after Carnival weekend, with Crown Bay as its event base. Carnival tips to carry into your next visit
Plan your accommodation and transportation early, then confirm the current event schedule with the organizer.
Bring drinking water, sun protection and comfortable shoes. Protect your phone and camera during paint, powder and water events.
Allow time for food lines and travel. Follow current organizer and public-safety instructions.

St. Thomas Carnival 2025 questions
When was it? The archived schedule begins with the April 12 Princess Show and ends with the May 3 Adults’ Parade and fireworks. Village Nights ran April 28–May 3.
Where was Carnival Village? Fort Christian Parking Lot in Charlotte Amalie. The 2025 Food Fair used Crown Bay Center.
