St. Croix Carnival 2026-2027: Crucian Christmas Festival Schedule, J’ouvert, Food Fair & Parades
Updated: Oct 24

It’s that time again. St. Croix Carnival is coming!
The 74th St. Croix Crucian Christmas Festival runs from December 5, 2026 through January 2, 2027. This year’s theme is “A Cultural Blend from Beginning to End,” and the announced calendar includes pageants, calypso, Madras Mas, Festival Village, Food Fair, J’ouvert, parades and fireworks.
The schedule and artwork come from the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and its Division of Festivals. I’ve put the key dates and the full calendar below so you can plan your Festival days.
For me, part of the fun is watching the season build. The pageants and calypso competitions start things off, Madras Mas brings the culture and color, and then Village opens on December 26. From there, the schedule moves fast: boat races, Breakfast Fête, Latin Night, Food Fair, Reggae Night, J’ouvert, the parades and the Festival finale.
If you came here looking for the dates, I have you. Save this guide and return for confirmed Village performers, event times, routes and new Flo Dynasty coverage.
What’s happening next?
The November 21 Crucian Gold Serenade is next on the announced early-event calendar. The October 18 presentation-show date has passed; I’ve preserved its announcement in the Updates section near the end of this guide. The main Festival window remains December 5, 2026 through January 2, 2027. I’m checking the Prince & Princess Pageant date because the flyer’s date and weekday conflict.
As Festival gets closer, I’ll update this section with the next confirmed event so you won’t have to dig through old flyers or the full schedule.
St. Croix Carnival 2026-2027: Key dates
Festival begins: December 5, 2026
Village opens: December 26, 2026
Food Fair: December 30, 2026
J’ouvert: December 31, 2026
Children’s Parade: January 1, 2027
Adults Parade: January 2, 2027
Last Call Village Night and fireworks: January 2, 2027
That December 26 through January 2 stretch is the busiest part of the celebration. If you’re traveling to St. Croix and cannot stay for the full Festival, that is the week to look at first.

Village performers, start times and routes
The official calendar lists the event dates and venues, not the nightly 2026-2027 Village performer lineup. I’ll add the lineup by date when the Division of Festivals announces it. I’m not filling that space with rumors or last year’s performers.
The December-January schedule also leaves start times, J’ouvert and parade routes, parking, traffic changes and road closures to be confirmed. I’ll add those details when official information is available.
Watch Carnival with Flo Dynasty
While the 2026-2027 Festival season builds, you can watch my previous St. Croix Carnival Village coverage:
I’ll add the 2026–2027 videos and updated playlist here as new coverage is published.
After January 2, I’ll keep this page as the year-specific Festival archive and replace the live-update section with verified videos, galleries and recaps. That way, the guide remains useful instead of disappearing when Carnival ends.

Updates
October 24, 2026: The Festival window remains December 5, 2026 through January 2, 2027. The original schedule flyer contains a date/weekday conflict for the Prince & Princess Pageant, so that individual event date is awaiting organizer clarification.
Official information checked: October 14, 2026
USVI Festivals has announced two dates ahead of the main Festival calendar. I’m keeping these early events separate from the December 5, 2026 through January 2, 2027 Festival window.
October 18: Princess Pageant Presentation Show
The organizer’s announcement scheduled the 2026 presentation show for 2 PM on Sunday, October 18 at St. Croix Educational Complex. It described the Platform Presentation as the pageant’s first judging segment. This announcement covered a separate event from the Prince & Princess Pageant listed on the December Festival calendar.
November 21: Crucian Gold Serenade
The Serenade is scheduled for Strand Street from noon to 6 PM. The organizer describes it as a holiday-season kickoff, so I’m listing it as an early-season event, not a new start date for the main Festival calendar.
The established calendar and its theme, “A Cultural Blend from Beginning to End,” stay unchanged. The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and Division of Festivals announcement remains the baseline for the December schedule.
Remember... Just Go with the Flo.
