My First J’ouvert Troupe: Kaleidoscope
In 2025, I joined the Kaleidoscope J’ouvert Group for my first experience in a troupe. From the two giant gorillas to the walking T-Rex, the creative costumes and energy made for a memorable Carnival morning.

VIPD and other emergency agencies were visible along the St. Thomas J’ouvert 2025 route. I heard Jam Band, Blind Earz and other bands throughout the morning. With so much happening at once, I missed Skinny Fabulous and Unkle Sasso, but there was still plenty to capture.
