The Juicer That Finally Got Me Started on Daily Greens
Updated: 4 days ago

Truth? When I first bought my TUUMIIST cold press juicer, it sat in the box for weeks. I told myself I’d set it up “soon.” It stayed untouched until one busy morning before a trip.

A post by Markus Rothkrantz about green juice gave me a nudge to try the machine. Here’s the funny part: I still had to pack. I asked my daughter to open the package and set up the juicer while I ran around doing my last-minute panic packing. More like she figured out the gadget, and I stressed about finding my charger. By the time my bag was zipped, the juicer was ready.
I grabbed kale, parsley, cilantro, lime and ginger from the fridge and juiced them. It yielded two cups, one for me and one for her. I downed mine quickly. She almost regretted taking a sip. Let’s just say it was very green.
What mattered to me was finally getting started. I enjoyed making a fresh drink and trying a routine that had felt like another chore. That personal experience is not proof that juice improves skin, boosts immunity or replaces a balanced diet.
My Juicing Journey Continues

A few days later, I tried a small green apple, kale, ginger, celery, French thyme, lemon and three grapes. I mixed a little pulp back into the juice. That was one of my early experiments with ingredients and texture, not a measured nutrition or medical result.
I also experimented with pear juice and pulp. That is part of my learning story, not a feeding recommendation for children. The FDA guidance below explains why untreated juice needs care.
What I Check Before Ordering a Juicer
A machine only helps if it fits your routine. Compare the current listing’s model, feed opening, container capacity, included parts and cleaning instructions. Think about the space you have and the amount you actually plan to make. Follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions rather than assuming every fruit or vegetable can go in whole.
For me, making the process feel doable was the useful part. That does not establish that one juicer preserves more nutrients than a blender or another machine.
What I Keep in Mind About Juice
Mayo Clinic explains that juice is not healthier than whole fruits and vegetables and that most juicing removes fiber. Juice is not a proven detox or a substitute for balanced meals.
The FDA’s juice-safety guidance explains that untreated juice can contain harmful bacteria. Children, pregnant people, older adults and people with weakened immune systems face greater risks. Washing produce does not make juice pasteurized.
Wash your hands and produce, clean the equipment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Mayo Clinic recommends making only as much fresh juice as you can drink at once because bacteria can grow quickly. If you have a health condition or need advice about a child’s diet, ask a qualified healthcare professional.
Check the Current Juicer Listing
The juicer photo is from my original 2025 post. The current TUUMIIST listing on Amazon shows a 3-in-1 juicer. Check the model, included parts and current details before buying; do not assume a listing will always match the unit in an older photo.
Check the retailer for current prices, availability and any offer terms. An old sale percentage is not a current promise, and there is no reason to rush a purchase that does not fit your needs.

The Glass Bottles in My Setup
The linked bottle set is a six-pack of glass bottles with silicone sleeves and metal caps. Check current specifications and cleaning instructions. A bottle is a container; it does not remove the risks of untreated juice.

Updates
October 2026: I refreshed the layout, checked the shopping links and added current juice-safety sources. All three original images remain. The old sale claim and unsupported health promises have been removed; my first-use story remains the heart of the post.
