A Little Humor to Start the Day
I don't know why I was surprised last night to see someone setting up a tent near Tutu Park Mall – talk about commitment! It jolted me back to remembering what a big day today really is. That front spot was properly secured, and I have to hand it to them for being fully prepared, even if I was the one taken by surprise! Now, I’m about to run out and check out the atmosphere at the voting centers here in St. Thomas as well as the picket lines. I’ll be capturing it all for those who are curious but staying cozy at home.

I don’t know about you, but the whole presidential election process has felt exhausting. Everywhere I turn, it sparks passionate debates – online, in person, and in casual conversations. But as intense as it’s been, it’s also a reminder of how much this election matters for us all, even here in the small but mighty US Virgin Islands. Whatever the outcome, I’m hopeful for a positive direction forward.
