Updated: 4 hours ago

Flo Dynasty Virgin Islands 2026 election cover with the authentic dot-com logo and an Unofficial Results label.

The Plaskett–Potter ticket’s reported election-night victory marks a historic moment for the Virgin Islands: Plaskett is reported to become the territory’s first woman governor. Congratulations to Stacey Plaskett and Milton Potter.

Reporting status: ESVI’s November 3, 2026, 9 PM AST territorial figures remain unofficial. The November 4 district-source correction reconciles the comparisons below; it does not change the territorial totals. The latest post-election priorities update follows the results.

November 4 Update: What Comes Next for the Virgin Islands?

Following the historic November 3 election, attention is turning to the priorities of the incoming Plaskett–Potter administration.

In a November 4 report on a post-election interview, the Virgin Islands Consortium described Stacey Plaskett’s plans involving WAPA, federal assistance, healthcare and changes to government operations, with Milton Potter expected to play a leading role in the proposed overhaul.

These are plans described after the election, not policies already implemented.

The election figures above remain the unofficial November 3 report; the November 4 interview reporting does not supply new certified candidate totals.

Explore the Official 2026 General Election Reports

These ESVI reports are labeled unofficial. Times below are printed on the individual reports, in AST. The St. Thomas/St. John early-voting link now points to the report issued November 4, 2026, at 3:06 PM, linked in VIVOTE’s November 4 alert sent at 4:17 PM. The other listed reports retain their November 3 issue times.

Source check, November 4, 2026: ESVI’s newly posted St. Thomas/St. John early-voting report resolves the earlier district discrepancy. Its figures agree with the precinct report and, when added to the St. Croix early-voting report, reconcile with the 9 PM territorial early-voting column. Combining each district’s early-voting and Election Day reports also reproduces all ten territorial candidate tables. The original territorial totals remain unchanged. All results are still unofficial.

Virgin Islands election results: your questions

Are these certified election results?

No. The figures in these tables are from ESVI’s unofficial November 3, 2026, 9 PM Territorial Summary. An election-night victory reported by news outlets is separate from the canvassing and certification process.

Does TOTAL include early voting and Election Day?

Yes. In the territorial report, TOTAL already includes the Election Day and early-voting components. Do not add TOTAL to those two columns. In multi-selection races, candidate vote sums are not voter counts.

Can I compare St. Thomas and St. John separately here?

The district reports linked here combine St. Thomas and St. John for the two territory-wide contests. I do not split that combined report into separate island totals.

Is the 6 PM turnout snapshot the final count?

The separate ESVI 6 p.m. participation report recorded 7,257 Election Day voters: 3,181 on St. Thomas, 418 on St. John and 3,658 on St. Croix.

Those figures are not Election Day candidate votes. They should not be added to the early-voting candidate totals or presented as final turnout.

Where will corrections and certified results appear?

Updates

I’ll continue updating this article as the Elections System of the Virgin Islands releases new results, corrections and certification information.

Each meaningful update will include its date, source and reporting status so you can distinguish unofficial election-night figures from certified results.

Bookmark this page and check back for updates to the 2026 Virgin Islands General Election coverage.

November 4, 2026: The article was reorganized into current results, district comparisons, post-election priorities, source reports and update history. Two corrected graphics replace the earlier results graphics. All twelve native tables and their vote figures are unchanged.

November 4, 2026: A sourced post-election priorities update was added, distinguishing the incoming administration’s proposed plans from implemented policies. No election figures were changed; results remain unofficial.

Earlier November 4 review: historical election-night context, continuing-update guidance, official report links and a precinct cross-check were added. The original ten territorial tables and their figures were preserved. The separate district early-voting discrepancy was unresolved at that checkpoint; the subsequent November 4 source update resolves it.

November 3, 2026, 9 PM AST: ESVI’s Territorial Summary with detail supplied the combined TOTAL, Election Day and early-voting figures used in the ten territorial tables. Earlier report cutoffs remain recorded below. Results are unofficial.

November 3, 2026, 8:56 PM AST: ESVI’s hub-linked Election Day Summary records 7,805 ballots cast and 25 blank ballots. Its figures appear separately from the 8:22 PM early-voting report; no cumulative totals or winners are declared.

November 3, 2026, 8:22 p.m. AST: ESVI issued the four-page unofficial early-voting candidate-results report covering ten contests.

For historical context, the earlier 8:22 PM report recorded 12,242 early-voting ballots, including 13 blank ballots, and reported early-voting turnout of 19.15%. The later 9 PM report adds the Election Day component and supplies the combined totals shown above.

November 3, 2026, 6 p.m. AST: ESVI's Election Day participation report recorded 7,257 voters as of that checkpoint.

Earlier zero-initialization reports are not candidate results.
