Agrifest 2024 St. Croix

Ever been to the Agriculture and Food Fair of the U.S. Virgin Islands, aka Agrifest? If not, you've been missing out on one lit celebration of our island's agricultural roots and culture. From February 17th to 19th, the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex, Estate Lower Love on St. Croix was where it's at! This year's theme, "AGRICULTURE: Our future and so much more in 2024," set the stage for three days of non-stop vibes, exploration, and good times.
Now, let me break it down for you. Agrifest ain't just about the music, but damn, the music was banging! We're talking Instylez International Band bringing the heat, Gus Bus Deh Band bringing the soul, and Stanley & the 10 Sleepless Knights keeping the party going. The vibes were off the charts, fam!
But Agrifest ain't just about the tunes – it's a whole vibe, ya feel me? Picture this: live animals chillin' like villains (we're talkin' chickens, snakes, peacocks, goats, rabbits, cows – the whole farmyard crew), fresh produce for days, dope-ass clothing, and all-natural hair and body products. It's a feast for the senses, straight up.
Now, Agrifest is no joke – it's massive, and you gotta pace yourself. But don't trip, they got shuttle rides to take you from one end of the grounds to the other. Ain't nobody tryna miss out on nothin'!
And let's talk about the grub, yo! Agrifest had everything from local delicacies to international flavors. Whether you're vegan, flexitarian, or all about that carnivore life, there was somethin' to satisfy every craving.
But you know what the best part was? The sense of community, the joy, the love – it was all there. From the colorful threads everyone was rockin' to the energy of the cultural dancers, Agrifest was a celebration of everything that makes our US Virgin Islands so special. Here are a few pictures:
