If you missed the hottest fashion event in the Virgin Islands, I have you covered. I was there with my camera from start to finish, and the CaribbeanCutie Fashion Fusion Festival did not disappoint.
The Runway
The fashion show was the main event, and it earned it. Models came out serving looks that would hold their own on any runway anywhere. Vibrant Caribbean prints. Sleek urban silhouettes. Every walk said something.
I shot the show from the floor and from above, and I can tell you the energy in that room was real. You could hear it.
The Vendors
The boutique owners and vendors brought their best. Handcrafted jewelry. Sustainable fashion. Pieces at every price point. This is what shopping local looks like when the community shows up for it.

The Woman Behind It
Special credit to Kim Blackett. The Fashion Fusion Festival is her vision, and she built it from the ground up. Events like this do not happen by accident. Somebody has to care enough to make them real.
The Cause
A portion of the proceeds went to the St. Thomas Stroke Support Group, Inc. Kim presented a check for $2,000. Style with a purpose behind it.
