Recognizing the Fear

I wanted to share a personal realization. For a long time, I had been letting fear control too many aspects of my life. I would avoid taking risks, trying new things or pursuing my dreams because I was scared of failure or rejection.

I was also afraid of judgment. To put it simply, I CARED TOO MUCH ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK! I found myself prejudging myself based on the assumption that others would. But you know what? That’s no way to live!

What Changed for Me

Then one day it hit me like a ton of bricks: IT ONLY MATTERS WHAT I THINK! The only person holding me back was ME! I decided to stop letting fear have so much power over my choices and decisions. I decided to remove myself from that mental box and LIVE!

I know it won’t be easy, so I decided to take things one step and one day at a time. I don’t want to look back and regret opportunities I missed because I was too scared to take a chance or afraid of change.

One Step at a Time

If you can relate, I encourage you to join me on this journey. You may stumble along the way, but you can still choose one next step. What could you try if fear of failure or judgment were not making the decision for you?
